At Nlightco.com, we collect the basic information from our users, visitors, and customers to keep up with the record and nothing else. We are committed to not exposing your data, and to communicate that matter here, we have created a privacy policy brief that will tell you how your data is protected and also why we collect your data. We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • We use your personal information to confirm your order and maintain a record of your purchase.
  • We use your personal information to provide you with the benefits that we offer our customers because we love rewarding our customers and making them happy.

  • Lastly, we sometimes also collect your information to help when you are in trouble during processing your order.

On the other hand, when placing your order, you will be asked for some confidential information like name, shipping address, credit card number, expiration date, and customer card identification number. Providing all this information is mandatory, and you can't complete your order without it. to join our email list, enter sweepstakes, or use online services such as our wish list, you are asked for your email address, name, and zip postal code.

 We never share your credit card information with anyone other than the credit card provider. Some other information about you may be combined with the publicly available information as well as information we receive from reputable companies we have selected to analyze the data we collect.

We have a right to disclose your personal information due to some serious reason, like to identify, contact, or bring legal action against persons or entities that may be causing injury to you, Nlightco, or others. We also believe the information when we believe the law requires it.   

Marketing Partnership

Our partners are part of our business, and all are trustworthy and responsible, and their privacy policies are aligned with ours. We partner with third parties that collect information across various channels, including offline and online, for the purpose of delivering the most relevant advertising to you. they never disclose your information to the wrong person our partner uses this information to recognize you across different channels and platforms.

We also share your personal information about you and your order with our business partners, allowing them to contact you regarding products and services depending on your interest. We also sometimes share your information with the subsidiaries.

When any new competitor joins us to become part of our services and products, we and that partner may share our customer data to identify the common customers. We also need your information to identify future promotional opportunities.

The shine light law privacy rights

According to section 1798.8 of the California civil code- the shine the light law. This section clearly states that the residents of California who have a business relationship with Nlightco and who provide some personal information to Nlightco, the consumer, have the right to request the type of personal information Nlightco shares with third parties for that direct marketing purpose. In addition, you can also request the identity of the third party with whom we have shared your personal information.

But you can make only one such request each year. For that request, you can email us at nlightco.usa@gmail.com.  

Your California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Rights

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is a law that grants various rights to California state residents. CCPA empowers residents to request the disclosure of any or all personal information held about them for the preceding twelve months from the time of request. Additionally, residents have the right to request information deletion and opt out of information sharing with third-party marketers. Canadian Anti-Spam Law (CASL)

CASL applies to all forms of commercial electronic messages (CEMs), including emails, texts, sound, voice, or image messages intended to encourage participation in a commercial activity. This includes offers to purchase a product or advertisements. Organizations sending CEMs within, from, or to Canada must obtain consumer consent before sending messages. Consent can be explicit (e.g., signing up for our mailing list online) or implicit (e.g., product purchase or inquiry). Implied consent is valid for 24 months post-purchase and 6 months post-inquiry.

If you are on our commercial electronic messages mailing list, you can unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribe instructions are provided in each email or on our online email page. Your address will be removed within 10 business days. Please allow 5 days for the removal of your email address from future mailings. Note that you will still receive order and shipping confirmations if you order from us in the future.

Contests and Promotions

You may be asked to provide personal information when participating in our contests or promotions. We and our partnering companies may use this information to notify winners or fulfill promotional obligations.

Product and Store Reviews

Currently, we only display product and store reviews written by customers on Nlightco. When leaving a review, including your email address, it will be collected by a third-party vendor on our behalf. Customer comments are reviewed by both the third-party vendor and Nlightco. Personal information collected during the review process is subject to our Nlight privacy policy and Terms of Use. Reviews may be posted at our discretion.

By submitting a review, you grant Nlightco and its affiliates a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works, distribute, and display such content worldwide in any media.

Privacy and Email Referrals

The rules and code of conduct mentioned above apply to emails provided during the use of our "email to a friend" utilities or "refer a friend" promotions. The specified third party has the option to not receive further communications from us.

Protection Against Fraudulent Charges

Nlightco provides a "Secure Shopping Guarantee." In the rare event that a third party gains unauthorized access to your personal information from a purchase made with us and engages in credit card fraud, you are protected. According to the Fair Credit Billing Act, in the United States, your liability may be up to $50 USD. If your bank holds you responsible for any portion of this amount, Nlightco will cover up to the entire $50 USD. For Canadian customers, your card agreement will specify your maximum liability (no more than $50 CAD) in cases of loss, theft, or unauthorized use.

Nlightco will assume this liability if the unauthorized use resulted from a purchase made on our secure server and was not due to any fault of yours. In case of unauthorized use, follow your credit card company's reporting guidelines.

Use of Cookies

Like many online retailers, Nlightco utilizes cookies, small pieces of data stored on your computer's hard drive. We use them to retrieve stored information, such as items in your "Wish List." Your browser's "Help" section explains how to manage cookies. We recommend keeping this feature enabled to fully enjoy the Nlightco experience.

Third-Party Advertising

Nlightco may employ third-party advertising companies for ad services. They may use cookies and action tags to gauge ad effectiveness. Any data collected is entirely anonymous and cannot be linked back to you. These third parties are contractually prohibited from sharing this information with anyone other than us or our advertising service providers.

Unsubscribing from Emails

If you're on our email list, you can unsubscribe anytime. Visit the Nlightco Email page or call (281)699-9205. CAN-SPAM and CASL legislation mandates your removal within 10 business days. Please allow 5 days for this to take effect. Note that if you make future purchases, you'll receive order and shipping confirmations via email.

Unsubscribing from Catalog Mailing

To stop receiving printed catalogs, email CatalogService@Nlightco.com with "Remove" as the subject, and include your name and address in the message. You can also call (281)699-9205. You'll be removed from the list within two weeks, but due to mailing preparation, catalogs may arrive for up to 90 days after your request.

Protecting Children

Nlightco ensures the safety and privacy of children. Our site is intended for general audiences, and we do not allow purchases by those under 18.
